The European transfer circuit is buzzing with activity and we take a look at some of the biggest stories that are making the headlines. 

10 ) Pierre – Emerick Aubameyang – Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City

The Gabon international has been in the transfer news for a long few years now and after reportedly refusing approaches from several clubs over the years, it seems like Manchester City’s call to sign him is being considered seriously by the player. It was reportedly earlier that Pep Guardiola wanted to sign the lightning quick striker while he was at Bayern Munich but was priced out of a deal, however financial issues are far from prevalent at City and a deal could be struck in the next few weeks. 

9 ) William Carvalho – Sporting Lisbon to Chelsea / Everton 

 

The highly rated Portuguese midfielder recently featured extensively for his country at the Euro 2016 and that could well have earned him a transfer to the Premier League after it emerged that Everton as well as Chelsea are both weighing up bids for the player. 

8 ) Jese – Real Madrid to Arsenal and Liverpool

After finally being told by the Real Madrid hierarchy that he will have to move on from the club in order to get himself playing regular football especially after the arrival of Alvaro Morata at the club, Jese is likely to be heading to England with Liverpool as well as Arsenal reportedly interested. 

7 ) Nemanja Matic – Chelsea to Juventus

Although Antonio Conte has ruled out a move away from Chelsea for Nemanja Matic in the current transfer window, the 27 year old continues to be linked with a move to the high spending Juventus side. Matic will likely cost up to £35 million if a move is to materialize. 

6 ) Blaise Matuidi – PSG to Manchester United

It was reported earlier that Blaise Matuidi left the French national camp in the middle of the Euros to fly to England in order to negotiate a deal with Manchester United. However nothing was spoken about the deal after that, but reports are now coming forward of a £30 million deal in place to take the player to England. 

5 ) Wissam Ben Yedder – Toulouse to Arsenal, Tottenham

The Toulouse striker has been a decent goal contributor to the club over the last few seasons and has established himself as a quick and witty forward who will be a very good addition to the Premier League. North London giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in his services. 

4 ) Marko Arnautovic sign a new four-year deal 

 

After initially hinting of a move away from Stoke last season, Marko Arnautovic has made  U turn and signed a new and improved 4 year contract extension with the Potters. The Austrian forward was reportedly interesting Everton and was linked with a transfer away from Stoke. 

3 ) Marlos Moreno – Atletico Nacional to Manchester City 

 

Another young player for Pep Guardiola as teenage striker Marlos Moreno prepares to exit his current position with Atletico Nacional to settle for a move to England with manchester City. City already has the likes of Iheanacho and others coming through he club ranks to claim their place in the first team and Moreno will significantly increase the depth in the side. The player is set to become a City player in the coming days with a transfer fee of £8 million reportedly agreed between the clubs. 

2 ) Arkadiusz Milik – Ajax to Napoli 

 

Napoli made quite a bit of money when they sold striker Gonzalo Higuain to fellow Italian competitors Juventus for a reported fee upwards of £75 million and have moved quickly for Polish striker Milik to replace the impressive Italian in front of goal. Milik will likely cost the club nearly £18 million to sign for the club. 

1 ) Paul Pogba – Juventus to Manchester United 

 

The Paul Pogba transfer saga has already dragged on for a long time and the latest update in the story involves the player’s agent Mino Raiola cancelling the player’s medical that was set to be held in Miami before signed for Manchester United. Pogba has reportedly been negotiating a transfer with Real Madrid as well.
